MONSTROS/MONSTERS



BOITATÁ – é a cobra de fogo a que se chama fogo-fátuo. Desliza pela noite espalhando clarões. São seres ágeis quando voam e podem flutuar imóveis. Por outro lado, podem mover-se tão rápido como um raio de luz. O fogo-fátuo é um ser com cerca de um metro e possui uma inteligência excepcional. Alimenta-se dos olhos e da energia das suas vítimas e combate os inimigos com uma poderosa carga eléctrica. Quando morre, espalha uma luz na escuridão da noite. O fogo-fátuo costuma comunicar com outros seres vibrando rapidamente. (in Teodora e o Livro dos Feitiços, pág.72)/ Is the charge of the fire which is called fire-fátuo. BOOBRIE – Pássaro gigante da água. Come coisas enormes, como vacas, ovelhas e é um óptimo mergulhador. Tem remendos brancos no longo pescoço e no peito, tem um bico em gancho como o das águias. Os pés parecem teias com tremendas garras, e a voz parece-se com o rugido de um boi enfurecido (in Teodora e a Poção Secreta, pág. 51)/ Bird giant water.
